While the final score might suggest a blow-out, the game was anything but. The Bears were unable to control the lead throughout the game, but the point margin was kept to a much safer score until late in the 4th.
Despite a solid first half, the now 3-3 Bears were unable to respond to the Blue Devils’ fast offense, which put them behind late in the game. The team was able to respond, but only to stop the bleeding to a 14-point loss.
Key offensive performances of the night were had by junior Brad Krause, who scored 10 points for himself, as well as sophomores Mike Travlos and Will McClaughry, who contributed 7 and 4 points respectively.
The boys will hit the road to take on Mundelein this Tuesday at 7pm.
