Percussionists from Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band will perform in the Performing Arts Center at 7:30pm tonight, May 1, for their spring concert.

“The order of songs usually goes from Concert Band to Wind Ensemble,” Anthony Foglia, senior, said. “Some ensembles are small and some have a [large] portion of the drumline. There will also be solos in between ensembles.”

The concert will feature a variety of songs, including Foglia’s own arrangement, a song entitled “Castle.”

“The percussion concert is very unique and gives us an opportunity to highlight what we have been working on all year,” Jacquelyn Brown, senior and band president, said. “It’s a lot more than people just banging drums.”
