The auction wall officially opened last Wednesday, drawing crowds throughout all lunch periods.
Items up for auction range from Bears or Blackhawks tickets to Justin Bieber autographs and pottery. No matter what someone’s interests, the auction wall is sure to have something to grab their attention.
“I love what I see on the auction wall this year,” Savannah Shuster, sophomore, said. “I will bring in some money tomorrow and bid on some of this stuff, because some of this stuff is so interesting.”
The rules of the auction wall are rather basic; you see it, you like it, you bid. On Friday at 3:20pm when the wall closed, each item went the highest bidder. The winner will have until Tuesday, December 13, to claim their prize. If the winner fails to claim their item before Tuesday, the item will be given to the second highest bidder.
“I like how there is a little something for everybody,” Shuster said. “There’s stuff for sports fan, music fans, and artists. They did a really great job of acquiring a wide range of items.”
