Junior Class Board sells caricatures for Charity Bash

Junior+Class+Board+sells+caricatures+for+Charity+Bash

Junior Class Board participated in Charity Bash by hiring John Murawski, a professional caricature artist, who sold portraits of students during all lunch periods.

The caricatures were sold for $5 each and took an average of 5 minutes for each drawing to be complete. A caricature is a portrait or depiction of a person often times with characteristics highly exaggerated to give the portrait a cartoon like look to it.

“The fundraiser turned out to be a big hit, lots of people wanted a caricature,” Nicole Murawski, junior and member of junior class board, said. “I know my dad had a great time drawing for the students. Caricatures are just really fun looking pictures and look great anywhere you put them.”

The total amount of money the fundraiser accumulated will be released within the week.
