The half hour long album consists of 11 songs written by Trainor and Kevin Kadish, her collaborator and producer. Listeners will love the album, find the beats catchy, and want to share this playlist with their friends.

The overall album focuses on the image of women, and better treatment of them. Many of the songs are relatable to all teenage girls that may be going through a rough patch in their self esteem or a break up, which explains why the album is ranked number four on iTunes’ charts.

Trainor’s two hit songs, “All About That Bass,” released on June 30, and “Lips Are Moving,” released on October 21, became popular during the year. “All About That Bass” topped the charts at number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 for four weeks, while “Lips Are Moving” was number four.

Trainor  promoted her album on her 2014 Jingle Bash tour.which was exciting for Juliana Hood, sophomore, who attended Jingle Bash and said Trainor’s performance was great.

“I really enjoyed her performance of ‘All About That Bass,’ Hood said. “It is nice that there’s a girl performer who’s all about getting better treatment from boys and the media.”

Title is all about promoting the self confidence level. Trainor sings lyrics like, “If you got beauty, beauty, just raise ’em up, ‘cause every inch of you is perfect, from the bottom to the top,” in her song “All About That Bass.”

“Future Husband” continues that theme. The song focuses on how, in order to have the “perfect wife,” the husband must do some work on his own part. Lyrics include “Take me on a date, I deserve a bae and don’t forget the flowers every anniversary ’cause if you’ll treat me right, I’ll be the perfect wife.”

With all of Trainor’s songs on her album, she incorporates old school hip hop with acoustic bass and finger snaps. Unlike other modern artists, Trainor uses this style to make her songs even catchier. Her songs can be easily memorized and sung later.

“Her style makes her songs really catchy and they get stuck in your head really easily,” Hood said.

With her style, Trainor does not limit to making her songs just catchy. She talks about how girlfriends should be given the title as a girlfriends and how girls should be shown off to boys’ friends and family. And if they don’t, they can kiss their girlfriends goodbye.

“Many of her songs have good messages for teenage girls and boys,” Hood said. “I definitely recommend listening to Meghan Trainor’s new album, Title.”
