Construction crews are moving quickly to create a support structure in order to be able to start putting new bleachers in place.

The workers are setting in the concrete pillars for the foundation walls, while also checking the soil and concrete quality as they go.

“This whole thing [concrete pillars in the ground] is going to be the high school bleachers, basically. The foundation walls are going to be for the storage building and also the foundation walls to prevent soil and erosion from entering the bleachers,” Reid Steindach, inspector for the concrete, said.

The bleachers themselves are being delivered next week and the project is aimed to be finished August 10.
