National Honor Society (NHS) is assisting St. Francis de Sales Parish with the Gift of Love again this year, according to Bailey Kuhn, senior.

      The Gift of Love assists families in need during the upcoming holiday season, according to St. Francis de Sales’ parish website. Donors can buy clothing, gifts, and various gift cards to give to the individual/family they “adopt.”   The program gave NHS 13 families – 89 people total – to find sponsors for at the high school, according to Kuhn   .

       NHS started promoting this event in the cafeteria during lunch periods on November 13 and already has found sponsors for all of the people in need, according to Kuhn.

      NHS will also be collecting the gifts and bringing them to the ministry center, where they will be given to the families. They have been helping out with the Gift of Love for several years prior to this.
