4.5/5 stars

Although it has moved down the street to a less prominent location, the high quality food and good customer service the Giordano’s has been known for continues to impress, now with a refreshing new vibe.

The restaurant moved less than 500 feet away from its previous, more prominent location on the corner of Rand and Route 22, in 2015.  It is now on the left end in the same strip mall as TJ Maxx.

Giordano’s brings the same great food to their new location.  The deep dish pizza is still excellent and worth the 45 minute wait, which can seem shorter when paired with drinks and appetizers, such as their wonderful Ripe Tomato Bruschetta.  It may be an $8 starter,  but the bruschetta is well worth it, with its Giordano’s sweet balsamic glaze on top of the thick sliced cheese and perfectly-baked garlic toast.

Although Giordano’s does not appear, from the outside, as inviting as it actually is, and could be overlooked because of its semi-hidden new location, if you are looking for a casual, hour-long dining experience, Giordano’s is a good choice.

“Waitstaff were friendly and refilled drinks promptly. LOVED this place overall- just make sure you go on an empty stomach!” wrote Nora L from Kendall Park, New Jersey, a Yelp reviewer.

Along with continuing the tradition of their famous pizza,  Giordano’s displays its Chicago origins with interesting memorabilia on the walls, and provides a family-friendly setting with great food for all ages.
