Students during lunch periods had the opportunity to vote for the school wide hashtag along with the movie for the outdoor movie night.

Students have the chance to make their voices heard and vote for the school hashtag and movie.

Tomorrow during lunch periods, Student Council will have a table for students to vote on both the schoolwide hashtag to be used on all social media and the movie to be played at the outdoor movie night September 3.

“We encourage everyone to vote because we want to make sure the hashtag and the movie reflect the interest of all the students,” Emma Wenckowski, junior and Vice President of Student Relations, said. “We’d like for the students to decide because we want to make sure that what we’re providing for them is something that they really want to go to.”

The option with the most votes, for each the hashtag and the movie, will be the winner. The winners will be unveiled at the assembly Friday, Wenckowski said. That will leave students a week to decide whether they want to sit out on the football field and watch the movie on the big screen, and will be ample time to start off the hashtag.

“Hopefully,” Wenckowski said, “what we do will make it a great year.”
