Rebelution, the mellow-vibe, reggae band from Santa Barbara, California recently released their fourth full length, studio album, Peace of Mind, on January 10.

With music similar to that of Slightly Stoopid, Iration, Sublime, and Tribal Seeds, their new album still has the classic positive reggae vibe, while also adding a more electric feel to a few of their songs.

One of the more popular songs such as “Sky is the Limit” give the album a fast paced, positive vibe, with lyrics such as “there’s nothing like a clear peace of mind, to overcome the hardships in life.”

Slower songs such as “Closer I Get” give the album a good balance between upbeat reggae and more mellow tunes.

The deluxe version of the album also include acoustic and dub versions of each of the songs and is only a few dollars more on iTunes for double the amount of songs.
